Evercreech Forest Reserve
Highlights
Step into a magical forest at Evercreech Forest Reserve, home to the world’s tallest white gums, also called the “White Knights.” These towering trees stand over 90 metres tall—how cool is that? Walking under their shady canopy feels like you’re in a natural cathedral.
The short trails take you along the South Esk River, where you can spot native plants and birds. Did you know these trees have been standing for over 300 years? Imagine the stories they could tell! It’s a great spot for a picnic or barbecue with family and friends.
Nearby, you can visit Mathinna Falls Forest Reserve for even more fun and adventure in Tasmania’s northeast.
Adult Supervision RecommendedSome trails may have uneven paths or slippery areas near water, so it’s best to have an adult with you for safety.
