Echidna Chasm

Highlights

Are you ready for an adventure in the stunning Echidna Chasm in Purnululu National Park? This amazing place, also known as the Bungle Bungles, is full of tall, towering cliffs and narrow, winding gorges. It's a perfect spot for explorers who want to hike and take fantastic photos of nature's wonders!

The 2km walking trail takes you through the chasm, where you'll see huge rock walls that reach up to 200 metres high! You can also spot beautiful Livistona palms that have stood there for ages, and if you’re lucky, you might see the changing colours of the walls as the sun moves across the sky. It's a real-life natural masterpiece!

Adult Supervision Recommended

Make sure you have an adult with you while hiking, as some parts of the trail can be tricky!
