Danggu Geikie Gorge in the Kimberley is a breathtaking natural wonder, where the Fitzroy River has carved through ancient limestone cliffs over millions of years. The park is home to an array of wildlife, including freshwater crocodiles, dingoes, and wallabies. It is also an important cultural site for the Bunaba people, known as Danggu. Visitors can learn about Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and the history of the region while enjoying the park's natural beauty.

When you are entering the Kimberley or Pilbara regions, you are entering crocodile country. Two species of crocodile occur in Western Australia: the estuarine (or saltwater) crocodile and the freshwater crocodile. The estuarine crocodile is the largest living reptile and is considered to be a dangerous predator. Freshwater crocodiles are smaller and not as aggressive. Be CROCWISE in Western Australia's north.
