Champagne Pools

Highlights

The Champagne Pools on Fraser Island are nature’s own bubbly spa! These rock pools fill with seawater as waves crash over the edges, creating a fizzing effect that looks like champagne. It’s a fun and unique place to swim and explore, especially when the tide is low.

Take the boardwalk along the rocky headland to reach the pools. Keep an eye out for turtles, dolphins, and even whales during the right season. It’s a magical spot that’s perfect for relaxing and taking in the incredible coastal views.

Adult Supervision Recommended

The steps to the pools can be steep and slippery, and the waves can be strong, so it’s important to have an adult with you to stay safe.
