Cathedral Gorge
Highlights
Cathedral Gorge is like stepping into a giant rock concert hall! The walls of this enormous amphitheatre are made of red rock, and when you talk, your voice echoes back. Musicians have even played music here because the sound is so cool. In the middle, there’s a small pool of water that looks magical.
The trail to Cathedral Gorge is an adventure on its own. You’ll walk through the famous bee-hive shaped rocks of the Bungle Bungles – they’re striped like a tiger! This area is a World Heritage site, so it’s not only fun but also an important place to learn about nature and geology.
Adult Supervision Recommended
The walking trail has uneven paths and can get tricky in some spots, so having an adult with you is a smart idea.
