Carnarvon Gorge

Carnarvon Gorge is an incredible place filled with natural wonders for kids and teens to explore. This gorge in Carnarvon National Park is part of the stunning Sandstone Wilderness and offers endless adventures, from hiking to discovering ancient Aboriginal rock art.
Visit the Amphitheatre for jaw-dropping views, explore Ward’s Canyon to see prehistoric plants, or climb to Boolimba Bluff for panoramic vistas. Don’t miss the Art Gallery, where rock paintings share stories from thousands of years ago.
If you’re up for a challenge, the Carnarvon Great Walk is an 87km adventure through breathtaking landscapes. It’s a place you’ll want to explore for days!
