Carlo Sand Blow is like stepping onto another planet! This massive sand dune covers 15 hectares and offers incredible views of the coastline, from Double Island Point to Fraser Island. The best time to visit is in the afternoon to catch the stunning sunset over Tin Can Bay and the Great Sandy Strait.
The easy 600-metre walk to the sand blow from Cooloola Drive makes it accessible for kids and teens. This spot is not only great for hiking and photography but also marks the start of the Cooloola Great Walk, a multi-day adventure for the truly adventurous.
