Cape Solander
Highlights
Imagine watching huge whales as they swim through the waters near Sydney! Cape Solander is one of the best places to see these magnificent creatures up close, especially between June and July when they migrate to warmer waters. Sometimes, the whales come as close as 200 metres from the coast!
At Cape Solander, you can also enjoy beautiful views from the lookout platform and learn all about whales from friendly volunteers. If you're lucky, you might even spot some other animals like birds or dolphins. It’s a fantastic spot for nature lovers and anyone who enjoys the outdoors!
