If you love a peaceful walk through nature, the Bullocks Walking Track in Jindabyne is the perfect spot. This 2.5 km trail follows the Thredbo River, and it’s a beautiful and relaxing way to take in the views of the surrounding snowy mountains. Keep an eye out for wallabies, kangaroos, and maybe even a platypus near the river!
There are plenty of chances to try fishing, as the river is full of trout, and during spring, the wildflowers bloom in vibrant colours. Don’t forget to stop by Bullocks Hut, which was built in 1934 and is a great place to relax before heading back!
