Highlights

Are you ready for a big adventure? The Breadknife and Grand High Tops Walk in Warrumbungle National Park is a super cool hike where you can see amazing volcanic rock formations that look like something from another planet! You’ll pass through beautiful forests and climb to see awesome views of cliffs and valleys.

Keep an eye out for colourful wildflowers in spring and majestic birds like wedge-tailed eagles soaring in the sky. The hike is a bit challenging, but it’s so much fun when you spot cool places like Belougery Spire and Bluff Mountain. Don’t forget to pack a picnic for a yummy break at Balor Hut campground!

Did you know? This area was shaped by ancient volcanoes millions of years ago. The Breadknife is a giant rock that stands 90 metres tall and is super thin—it’s like nature’s skyscraper!
