Box Log Falls

Highlights

Box Log Falls is a magical waterfall hidden in the lush rainforest of Lamington National Park on the Gold Coast Hinterland. The trail is part of the Box Forest Circuit, a 10.9km loop that takes about 4 hours to complete. Along the way, you’ll discover several waterfalls, including Box Log Falls, Elabana Falls, and Darragumai Falls, making it a true rainforest adventure.

As you walk under the canopy of ancient trees, listen to the sounds of birds singing and water trickling through the forest. The cool mist from the falls and the green surroundings make it feel like stepping into a rainforest fairytale. Box Log Falls is one of the highlights of the circuit, with water cascading down moss-covered rocks into a sparkling pool below.

Lamington National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, a World Heritage Area filled with rare plants and animals that have been around for millions of years. It’s like walking through a living museum of nature!

Adult Supervision Recommended: The trail can be long and slippery in some areas. Stay close to your adults to enjoy a safe and fun rainforest adventure.
