Bluff Knoll

Highlights

Bluff Knoll is an amazing hiking adventure in Western Australia’s Stirling Range National Park. Standing at 1,098m tall, it’s the highest peak in the region, and the views from the top are absolutely incredible. The 6.8km return trail is steep but rewarding, with cool stops along the way to catch your breath and enjoy the scenery.

The hike starts in woodlands filled with colourful wildflowers like banksias and orchids. As you climb higher, the views get even better, and you might even spot the famous "mist rolling around the mountains," which gave Bluff Knoll its Aboriginal name. The summit feels like standing on top of the world, with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Bluff Knoll is also a biodiversity hotspot, home to over 1,500 plant species found nowhere else on Earth. It’s like walking through a living science lesson!

Adult Supervision Recommended: The trail is steep and challenging. Stay close to your adults to safely enjoy this amazing hike.
