Bluff Hut
Highlights
Perched high in the Alpine National Park, Bluff Hut is one of the coolest spots for a mountain adventure! This hut, rebuilt after a fire in 2007, is a place where hikers, campers, and bikers can rest while soaking in the beauty of nature. It’s the third-highest hut in Australia, and it has a rich history from the 1950s when it was first built.
For a real treat, take a short walk to "The Bluff," where you'll see breathtaking views of the mountains stretching out as far as the eye can see. It's a fantastic spot for kids who love exploring, hiking, or just enjoying the fresh mountain air.
If you visit between November and June, you can drive up to the hut, but during winter, the tracks are closed, adding a bit of an adventure for those on foot!
