Australian Dinosaur Trail
Highlights
If you love dinosaurs, the Australian Dinosaur Trail is a dream come true! This epic adventure takes you to three towns – Winton, Hughenden, and Richmond – where you can learn all about Australia’s prehistoric giants. See real dinosaur footprints at Lark Quarry, the inspiration for the stampede scene in Jurassic Park!
In Hughenden, meet “Hughie,” a life-sized Muttaburrasaurus skeleton, and explore Porcupine Gorge, known as Australia’s “Little Grand Canyon.” In Richmond, visit Kronosaurus Korner to check out marine reptiles and one of Australia’s best-preserved dinosaur skeletons. It’s a journey back in time that’s packed with fun and learning!
