If you’ve ever wanted to experience the Flinders Ranges like never before, the Arkapena Scenic Adventure is for you. This 4WD track takes you through some of the most breathtaking scenery in South Australia. You’ll drive through bushland, native pine forests, and creeks, all while learning about the geological history of the area. Did you know the Flinders Ranges are around 800 million years old? They’ve seen it all—from ancient seas to mountains rising from the earth!
At the end of the track, you’ll reach the Prelinna Lookout, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It’s the perfect spot for a few photos and a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature. The drive is about 40 km long and takes around 4 hours, so make sure to pack a lunch and get ready for an epic adventure!
