Have you ever seen a real lighthouse? Split Point Lighthouse is famous because it was in the TV show *Round the Twist*! You can climb to the top and look out over the ocean to see amazing views. The cast iron spiral staircase is super cool, and you’ll feel like you’re in a storybook as you make your way to the lantern room.
The lighthouse was built in 1891 and still helps ships find their way. On the guided tour, you’ll learn fun facts about how lighthouses work and hear stories from the past. It’s an adventure full of history and exciting views!

What You Need To know
Guidelines
- Always do some research before heading out for your journey. Visit the Split Point Lighthouse website for up to date information on the current tours, pricing, opening and closing times.
- Children must be 5 years and over to take a tour and should be able to climb the stairs.
- An adult must accompany all children under age 10.
- Infants can be carried in a baby sling.
- Wear suitable footwear to ensure you make it up the spiral staircase without issue.
- Always stay on the marked tracks where possible. Never climb fences, they are there for your own safety.
- Please consider the environment, take your rubbish with you or place in the bins provided. We want to ensure these beautiful places are still here for our future generations to enjoy.
